No photos
So if you haven't noticed, I haven't been able to post any pictures for awhile. We are having an issue with our camera and computer recognizing each other or something like that. We have tried a few times, I don't know what the next step is, Monte is my "computer guy". So I need to ask him again what to do. Hopefully some day soon...

Squash
Just a little garden update, most everything is growing nicely. The tomato plants a getting big and lots of green ones, there a a couple that are almost red! so we are very excited for that! We even have three cantaloupes growing so hopefully they will ripen successfully. And the Squash, Oh the squash we have gotten!! I have probably picked over a dozen already! The first few were big, but now they are a more normal size now as the plant is producing more. I also did not know how big it was going to get- the plant that is- so its being a bit intrusive on other things that were planted too close. I picked four just yesterday and then took them to church to give away, since I already had three in the fridge from two days ago. And I had no problem finding them homes. I used one and a half in dinner last night, and then picked two more beautiful ones this morning! I am amazed! I think I could sell these things, hmmm...

swim much
We've still been swimming lots almost each day when Monte gets home I suggest we go because its been so hot all day! Friday and Sat night we went to his parents house- kind of by default because Thursday night I dropped him, JR and Lissy at the clubhouse while I went to Target to get diapers and return some things. After I picked them back up we couldn't find the key so it must've got dropped somewhere inside, but he couldn't find it, so we told his brother and we're left without for now. As a result swimming at Gramma's house is helping Lissy improve on her confidence in the deep pool, she is doing awesome! She can swim across the shallow end of the pool, jumps in, and likes to hold her breath. JR also wearing his arm floaties just floats around the pool like a booey! He practices going under also either by himself or with Daddy's help. He's always laughing though, we say he's gonna drown laughing! Cause he doesn't close his mouth, its quite humorous! And Wyatt just loves the water! We also took SugarBear Sat, and she greatly enjoyed the swim too! the water feels so good when its this Hot! I said to Monte that night, I don't know how we'd get through the summer without access to a pool...so thank you family and friends who share with us!

Sharing and crawling
Last night we went to Gramma and Granpas. Melissa and JR got to swim with their Dad and cousins, he helped JR under the water and to swim abit. It was fun! I enjoyed watching them. Wyatt and his cousin Ryder who is 3 months older were playing on the floor, they both sit facing each other and passing toys back and forth. JR came and sat by them observing this and declared "Look Mom their sharing!" and I thought "Yeah see how that works!" He tends to take most things away from Wyatt unless they are "baby" toys. Another cute thing was R crawls around and W would observe this very carefully, You could just see him thinking about how he could do this! At one point W got onto his knees and did some rocking! so funny, then he did his "army" crawl after him.

July 4th on the 3rd

Happy Independence Day! I've decided it is my favorite holiday! It started Sat morning with a pancake breakfast at our church after which the children got to parade the parking lot on their bikes and scooters adorned in Flags and other red, white and blue decor. Wyatt wore his "Made in the USA" shirt and got a ride in a wagon with a future friend, as he attempted to dismantle all the decor off the wagon. It was fun to watch them ride around. JR took a couple breathers from riding his scooter and even got ran into, but no injuries. Later in the afternoon me and kids went to the pool, then we had dinner with some friends after Monte came home from work. Then he took the top off the Jeep so we could sit in it to watch the fireworks by the park. This worked out very nicely as we were able to drive away and beat all the traffic, good idea Monte! Wyatt slept through them fortunately, but JR whined through them wanting to go home, at least Lissy enjoyed them! Also Wyatt is 7 months old today, wow! These pictures are from my friend Ruthie because I forgot my camera.

Pool Time
We have been going poolside a lot this week, and really enjoying it! For example, today while at the clubhouse pool, Melissa in between jumps in the water tells me "Mom this is the best day!" I'm glad she enjoys it, cause I do too. Today was also Wyatt's first swim, and boy does he love the water! I have dipped his feet before, but today I sat him between my legs in the 'beach' pool and he splashed away with his hands and feet! He even went onto his tummy scooting in it, he was soo happy! JR is still in a cautious state, gradually getting wet, he discovered he could walk around the whole pool (its only 2 1/2 ft deep) and by the end was gladly showing me he could sit with the water up to his chin. He wouldn't put his face in, even though I tried to convince him. So here's to July! Lots of fun in the sun, at the pool!
