Kindergarten

Well the dreaded day came and went, Melissa had her first day of Kindergarten!! She was very excited especially after going to the classroom for orientation last Friday. She got right up this morning and got dressed in the clothes we picked out and did all the things on her chart to get ready. Monte came home to go with us for the first drop off. That was a good thing for me cause he made me leave. It is such a strange feeling not knowing what she did for that time, though she had a great time and said "I didn't miss you - I was so excited cause I've never been before". And yes that is so sad , but true, and I guess I should be happy that is she is confidant in herself to be without me. But having said that, Monte will be home tomorrow so I plan on staying for a bit to observe and help, I'm excited to help in the classroom each week.
