Our beautiful baby boy, Wyatt James McKeon, born December 3 2009 at 3:10 pm. weighing 8 lbs 14 oz and 21 inches long. It was a joyfull day, we were so excited to have him join our family! And we are so happy he's here!
At first we were so surprised at his size, I was amazed that I had a baby that big, but it really made sense as to how I felt the last month of the pregnancy "very full" is what I told people. It was hard to move alot, hard to breath, but still had a hearty appetite. Had to keep up with the growing boy.
Everything went really well, the labor process went very smoothly, I felt like I knew what I was doing and what was coming(very nice perk of having multiple children) Contractions started Monday night and lasted until the morning, then again Tuesday night until morning. Wednesday I had a Dr. apt at which point I was dilated to a 3-4, and we were super excited! That night they came really strong and by 1 am we were on our way, but when morning came the contractions slowed and then stopped. We rested for a little, then started trying to bring them back which included breaking my water bag. I was nervous about that and when nothing continued to happen I was more nervous, as my goal was to have a successful "vbac". Monte and I decided he would give me and baby a blessing. It was beautiful, just what I needed to calm me, and shortly after contractions started to come back. Just a couple hours later he was ready, I pushed maybe three times(ten minutes) and he was born!
